Holcombe Brook remains one of the steadier markets we cover. The typical sale was about £310,000, around 3% up on the year before, and semi-detached homes, more than half of all sales, sold for almost exactly what they did a year earlier at around £300,000. Detached prices look higher, but with only 17 sales it's too early to call that a trend. Seven homes sold for £500,000 or more, including the area's top sale at £1.19 million on Longsight Road.
